The Christmas Horror Gift Guide
If you have a horror fan in your
life, I have some some gift ideas to get you started. Some of the
links are affiliate links and by using them you can support
me! Please note the amazon links are UK only at the moment.

Fangoria also year around sell various merch to show love for the long running brand.Subsciption: https://shop.fangoria.com/collections/subscription

Waxworks soundtracks
Waxworks Records are a small incredibly dedicated team that produces primarily horror record scores. The catalogue of available scores varies and new titles are announced throughout the year, always produced in beautiful colourful varieties. Note, that discs are made and shipped by Waxworks so shipping time is alot slower than simply buying off the shelf. While, I adore Waxworks, there is alot of companies out there producing new records. Don't forget original pressings from the 70's and 80's. You will find soundtrack and scores for many of your favourites on Amazon and eBay.
A24 Shop
A24 has cemented themselves in the horror community as a powerhouse in filmmaking and has been responsible for popular films outside the horror genre.
The A24 Shop has exclusive limited edition merch from tees and hats to
script books and christmas tree ornaments. It seems that what's on
offer comes and goes so it may be worth your time looking up previous
offerings on eBay.
New Horror Novels
I'm making another post about some of the most recommended horror novels released in 2024, but here are some to get you started.Grady Hendrix Witchcraft For Wayward Girls, Paul Tremblay Horror Movie, Josh Malerman Incidents Around The House: A Novel, Gabino Iglesias House of Bone and Rain
Horror Graphic Novels
While I don't have a list this time of new releases to recommend, we have recently been graced with the Adult Swim produced adaptation of Junji Ito's Uzumaki. This is an incredibly popular horror graphic novel and a perfect place to start for someone who wants to dip their toe into owning some Japanese horror weirdness. Uzumaki, and others I'll link, are all large thick books, however if you want to gift a little taste of Ito, try The Dissolving Classroom. This is a quick read, a super weird and creepy story and just a great introduction to his story telling styling.Movie Art Books
There's some satisfying about having a physical book. If
you are a movie lover, an art book/making of book of your favourite can be an
wonderful addition to the bookshelf. Behind the scenes, concept art
and photography.
Your
loved ones favourite movies can be a great gift but also consider
make-up and special effects artists as well as traditional artist who
work in film. Artists like HR Geiger (responsible for Xenomorph and
general Alien esthetic) , Phil Tippet (Known for creature design,
particularly Puppets from Star Wars to his own Mad God) and Ron Cobb
(Art Department: Alien/s, District 9, The Abyss and Back to The
Future!) all have art books available.
You'll be amazed what books exsist on your favourite films!

Boxes
From Mamma is a small business I've stumbled upon that primarily
provides movie night blind boxes. A suprise Blu-ray and a ton of
goodies. A fantastic service, if you live in the USA. However
what I wanted to highlight is the Disc Nook. A 3D printed horror icon
head statue that site neatly amongst your dvds and Blu-ray's. Incredible.

Final Girl Wines
As someone who doesn't drink at all I have zero idea about wines but the concept is simple and if you are a horror and wine lover, its a win win. I first heard about finalgirlwines when they sponsored the now defunked Shockwaves podcast. They have been featured in SantaBarbara Independent.
I'll be posting another blog soon of best horror novels of 2024, but for now thats it. I hope you found it helpful and if you did let me know!
